Networking
Designed for your building, not off a shelf
Every site is different, and a network copied from somewhere else rarely works well. SIL designs networks around your building, your people and how you actually work. We plan the switching, routing and cabling, choose equipment sized for the job rather than over- or under-sold, and build in room to grow, so adding a tenant, a floor or a new service later doesn't mean starting again. The result is a fast, stable network where everything — Wi-Fi, phones, cameras, access control and your business systems — runs together properly instead of fighting for bandwidth.
Installed, connected and linked properly
We handle the whole installation: structured cabling, network cabinets, switches and routers, fibre where it's needed, and high-speed point-to-point links between buildings and hard-to-reach spots like car parks, gatehouses and camera poles. That means one team is responsible for the entire path your data takes, from the internet connection coming in to the device at the far end. Everything is tested and documented as we go, so there's no tangle of mystery cables and no finger-pointing between contractors when something needs attention later.
Monitored and looked after around the clock
A network isn't finished on install day. We monitor the devices on your network around the clock, watch for faults and failing equipment, and apply updates quietly overnight so your days aren't interrupted. You can see the health of your own site at any time through a simple online portal, in plain language rather than technical noise. When something does need attention, you call a local Wellington team that knows your site, has the documentation in front of them, and takes responsibility for getting it sorted. It's the difference between hoping your network is fine and actually knowing it is.
